When I arrived in Texas with no idea of what the future held as I was following my guides and knew this was the next step. I stayed in Dallas for about a week seeing friends and driving around through the old neighborhood. I drove by our old house and I went around the area by the high school and of course around White Rock Lake as I have many memories of the lake and Flag Pole Hill. It was a nice to revisit the old memories in Dallas.
I started looking for an apartment on the internet and found one in San Marcos over a B & B. So off to San Marcos I went knowing full well that I was heading off into my future ready for anything that was to come. It is an amazing experience to live life like that, not knowing and not caring because you just know you are going where you are supposed to be. You are awake and listening to the universe and saying yes to whatever the future has in store.
I settled in to the Inn and started working weddings and other events there. It was hard work but it was work and I enjoyed it. Life in San Marcos was good and I really love the Hill Country of Texas, it is very beautiful. I was sitting in my room on the computer one day and the message came through for me to join a dating site LOL. I said out loud really? I do not date! The message was very clear and came again, so I said Ok and I joined. It was not so bad and I went on a few dates and motorcycle rides through the Hill Country that were really wonderful. As a month of so went by I met this man from Texas that was living in Ecuador! I said Ecuador....really this is my next stop?
I researched it and said ok Ecuador it is then! I made my plans and booked my ticket and on August 6th 2012 my plane left Miami headed for Ecuador. I remember that flight well as I looked out the window as the sun was setting and watching the sun sink into a white cloud bank. I have seen many sunsets over the ocean and witnessed the green flash, but this was brilliant as the clouds turned gold in color. I remember having this feeling in my chest and I thought what is that? Then it hit me, it was joy and happiness that I had not experienced in such a long time! As a tear slid down my face the sun said goodnight and slid behind the gold clouds. Next stop Quito, Ecuador ~
